When the West is right.
September is the bugle — archery, bulls vocal, the best mature-bull encounters of the year. Rifle seasons follow through October and November. Spring means bears over the green-up. We confirm state seasons, draw results and tags for your year before anything is booked.
Camp, not a resort.
Western outfitting runs from a wall tent at the end of a horse trail to a ranch house with a porch facing the peaks. Either way the day starts in the dark, the glassing starts at grey light, and dinner is whatever the week has produced.
