The experience

One long table under the camelthorns.

This is the ranch we grew up on, not a lodge we rent. Days start with coffee on the stoep and end at the braai — your harvest, our fire, everyone's stories.

En-suite chalets on the family ranch
Braai every night — your game, done properly
Game drives and photo days for non-hunters
Skinning, salting and taxidermy handled on site
The hide at first light
Inside the lodge
Sundowner at the waterhole
Coffee before the morning stalk
Your hosts

Alex's family ground.

Seven generations of Alex's family have run this ranch. When you hunt South Africa with us, you are a guest of the family — and a founder is beside you from the airport to the last braai.

My first Africa trip. Kudu, gemsbok and a week at a family table — it felt like visiting old friends who happen to run 20,000 acres.

You hunt beside the family that owns the ground. My son took his first springbok and the ranch made a bigger fuss of it than we did.

Sable in Limpopo, then back to the ranch for the last three days. Permits, rifle import, shipping — all of it handled before I asked.
