The roar, and the long table.

Free-range stags answering across the Andes in the March roar, high-volume birds over Córdoba, and an estancia that treats the evening as seriously as the hunt.

Argentina's southern-hemisphere seasons run counter to Africa and Europe, which is exactly why it sits where it does on our calendar. Big game runs March to September; the roar is mid-March to late April, and wing shooting peaks April through August.

The roar runs mid-March to late April and is the reason most hunters come. Wing shooting peaks April through August, which is why a combination trip works so well here. We confirm estancia availability and provincial licensing for your year before anything is booked.

The experience

An estancia, not a hotel.

Argentine estancias run from traditional ranch houses to lodges with wine cellars and professional kitchens — and the evening is not an afterthought. Asado over the coals, local wine, and the sobremesa that keeps the table sitting long after the plates are cleared.

Your hosts

Alex and Rasmus, on this ground.

Argentine trips are led by Alex or Rasmus. The social shape of the country — long meals, fine wine, the sobremesa — makes this a natural Hosted destination, where your host runs the daily rotation between hunting pairs and makes the evenings deliberate rather than accidental.
